If you’ve ever heard (or used) the term “executive presence” but have no idea what it actually means or how to define it, you’re not alone. Leaders just know they want it. And companies want leaders who have it. So, what is it, exactly? When I ask clients to translate, they usually say something about inspiring confidence in others. But, after working with dozens of leaders across the globe, I realized that what they really mean is inspiring confidence in themselves. The trick is finding this confidence and keeping it close. And sometimes you just need a little help to get there. In this workshop, we’ll practice how to quiet our inner critic, discover our executive presence, and find opportunities to practice using it in our day to day to collaborate more effectively and accelerate our careers.

Inner Radio was founded by Jennifer Ouyang Altman after an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of business and 10 years in sales leadership. She believes what scares us about sales is the same thing that scares us about raising our hand in meetings, giving tough feedback, and asking for promotions. We fear sharing what we want most and getting judged by others. We fear asking for what we want most and hearing No.
As a sales leader she learned to build trust quickly, influence without authority, and ask for what she wanted over and over again. She now helps leaders across industries find the confidence and clarity to do the same.
Jennifer facilitates Interpersonal Dynamics, Stanford Graduate School of Business’ most popular elective on building effective professional relationships. Beyond working with MBAs, she facilitates courses on communication and storytelling with GSB’s executive program and is a CEO coach for Berkeley Haas’ CEO program
